Auto Parts Sales Advisor

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role

As an Auto parts Sales Advisor you will perform a variety of customer service, in store, marketing,
promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of auto
parts/accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the company.
  • Taking and responding to customer queries and orders through all channels (Email, Phone, On-
    line eBay, Amazon, in person) and up-sell to increase invoice value

  • Keep customers informed of orders, issues, delays etc.

  • Look for add-on sales as part of the selling process

  • Ensure all stock is picked quickly and accurately

  • Maintaining and further expand the customer base

  • Make outbound calls to raise customer awareness and achieve sales

  • Reaching and exceeding targets/goals

  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors. Attend conferences, trade fairs and
    exhibitions where required.

  • Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is
    obtained.

  • Build long-term relationships with local customers

  • Limit credits and returns by sending the right parts, first time

  • Work with the counter team to deliver excellent customer service

  • Liaise with the internal team to ensure the end customer requirements are met, including timely
    dispatch of parts, stock reallocation and checks

  • Actively promote offers, discounts and customer competition

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (work experience, qualifications, specialist training, key skills, disposition)

  Requirements Essential/Desirable
Qualifications Degree and/or professional qualification within relevant area [D] All Essential unless indicated by ‘D’ which is Desirable
Experience  Previous experience in similar auto parts sales [D] All Essential unless indicated by ‘D’ which is Desirable
